In Milan, protesters against the 2026 Winter Olympics clashed with police, including attacking law enforcement officers with fireworks. This was reported on February 7 by France 24 TV channel.

"The demonstrators fired fireworks and threw stones at the police, after which the police dispersed them with water cannons," the publication says.
