On February 7, Russian MMA fighter Ramazan Kuramagomedov defeated compatriot Shamil Musaev in a duel for the Professional Fighters League (PFL) welterweight title.

The fight went off with a score 48:46, 48:46, 48:46. According to the "Sport-Express", during one of the fights Musaev was stripped of a point for an illegal knee strike.

At the end of the fight, Kuramagomedov announced his retirement. According to him, he made this decision even before the fight with Musaev.
