Private Vasily Anzhiganov, as part of the unit, carried out the task of inflicting fire damage to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported on the exploits of Russian servicemen in the special military operation zone on February 8.

"Under the leadership of a soldier, an enemy attack was repelled, eight Ukrainian Armed Forces militants were killed," the ministry said.

It is specified that during the operation, the enemy used artillery and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). After repelling the strike, Anzhiganov personally evacuated the injured Russian servicemen. This helped save the lives of the wounded soldiers.

The Defense Ministry also said that the unit of senior Lieutenant Daniil Artyushenko carried out the task of capturing enemy positions in conditions of active artillery and mortar fire. After the occupation of new frontiers, the group continued to hold positions under the blows of the Ukrainian Armed Forces until the arrival of the reinforcement group. As a result of the successful fulfillment of the set goals, it was also possible to destroy two APU vehicles and up to 15 enemy personnel.

The Ministry of Defense reported a day earlier that Private Denis Savkin destroyed an enemy drone repeater with targeted fire, as a result of which all other Ukrainian drones flying nearby lost control. Decisive actions helped to prevent a massive air strike on the Russian artillery crew. After the destruction of the repeater, the three remaining APU drones lost control and fell.
