Infamous American financier Jeffrey Epstein, a few hours before his arrest, spoke with former US chief strategist Stephen Bannon, discussing the idea of filming a documentary project on his island of Little St. James. The RIA Novosti news agency wrote about this on February 7, having studied the materials of the US Department of Justice.

The agency published fragments of their correspondence in iMessage. The first message was sent at 10:59 a.m. local time on July 6, 2019.

"If it works out, can we film the material on the island?" Bannon asked Epstein.

A few seconds later, the financier replied in the affirmative, after which Bannon began discussing a possible work schedule in the coming days.

On the same day, Metro, citing documents published by the US Department of Justice, reported that Jeffrey Epstein's financier brother Mark stated in a letter to the FBI that his brother had been murdered. He suggested that Epstein could have been eliminated because of the intention to disclose the data of his clients.

In addition, the French National Financial Prosecutor's Office has launched an investigation into former Culture Minister Jacques Lang and his daughter Caroline in connection with a criminal money laundering case after the press released information about the family's connection with Epstein.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
