The moment when a firecracker exploded in a teenager's hands in Lyubertsy, Moscow region, was captured on video. The footage was posted on the Telegram channel by the Moscow Region Prosecutor's Office on February 7.

The recording shows how a teenager leaves the room, notices a firecracker on the ground, picks it up, after which an explosion occurs.

The next moment, the young man runs away from the scene in a panic.

An inspection is also underway with regard to the guardianship authorities of Norilsk, which were supposed to monitor a dysfunctional family.

On the same day, it became known that a teenager lost several fingers when a firecracker exploded, which he picked up while taking out garbage in Lyubertsy, Moscow region. The Children's Ombudsman in the Moscow Region, Ksenia Mishonova, said that comprehensive support would be provided to the victim's family and urged parents to be vigilant.

Later, the main investigative department of the Investigative Committee (IC) for the Moscow region opened a criminal case after the explosion of a firecracker. A criminal case has been opened under Article 118 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Causing serious harm to health by negligence").
