The Iranian Foreign Minister announced his readiness to attack US bases in case of an attack.

In the event of a US attack on Iran, Tehran plans to retaliate against US military bases in the region. This was announced on February 7 by Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi.

"We do not have the ability to attack American territory if Washington attacks us, so we will attack its bases in the region," he said in an interview with Al-Jazeera.

Araqchi explained that such an attack would not be considered a strike on neighboring countries, since the target would be US facilities with American personnel. According to him, the response will be symmetrical and aimed exclusively at the military infrastructure of the United States in the region.
