- The government has allocated more than 10 billion rubles for housing certificates in 2026
In 2026, the Russian government allocated more than 10 billion rubles to provide housing certificates to citizens. This was reported on the government's website on February 7.
"In 2026, over 10 billion rubles will be allocated to provide citizens with certificates for the purchase of housing at the expense of the federal budget," the official statement said.
It is specified that the order on the distribution of such documents was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. The certificates will allow you to obtain housing in settlements with developed social infrastructure or improve living conditions in the cities of your current residence.
Chernobyl victims, internally displaced persons, citizens moving from Baikonur, regions of the Far North and closed administrative-territorial formations, as well as military personnel and law enforcement officers in need of better housing conditions are eligible for such support.
On January 22, the head of the Ministry of Regional Development, Alexei Chekunkov, announced that the Far Eastern and Arctic Mortgage program was going to be extended to the secondary market in localities where new housing had not been built for the past 20 years. The program allows you to get a housing loan at a rate of 2% per annum and is valid from 2019 for the Far East and from 2023 for the Arctic.
