A child died from injuries after a bus accident near Krasnoyarsk

A girl injured in a bus accident in the Krasnoyarsk Territory has died. This was announced on February 7 by the Ministry of Health of the region.

"A girl with a severe combined motor vehicle injury, <...> unfortunately, she died this morning. Doctors have been fighting for the child's life for a long time, but the injuries sustained in the accident turned out to be incompatible with life," the department's Telegram channel says.

Four children were discharged, and two more continued treatment.

Insurance companies will be required to file lawsuits against violators in cases of accidents with aggravating circumstances.

A fatal accident involving a bus occurred in the Rybinsk municipal district on February 2. An IVECO truck towing a modular house lost its trailer — it disconnected, drove into the oncoming lane and crashed into a passenger Gazelle. There were 13 people in her cabin: teenagers and escorts. As a result of the accident, five people were killed — four teenagers and one 31-year-old escort. Several other people were hospitalized with injuries of varying severity.

The truck driver, who became the culprit of a traffic accident with the dead, was detained in accordance with Article 91 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Russian Federation.
