The State Duma announced a new tax payment for children with children

Since January 1, Russia has introduced a new tax payment for parents of two or more children whose income does not exceed 1.5 of the regional subsistence level. This was announced on February 7 by Ekaterina Stenyakina, a member of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans' Affairs.

"Since January 1, 2026, a new measure of support for families with children has appeared in Russia — the family tax payment," Stenyakina said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

It is noted that you need to submit an application to receive the payment.

This measure also applies to adoptive parents, guardians, and caregivers.
