Politico has learned about the desire of European countries to resume dialogue with Russia

Brussels and other European capitals are in favor of resuming dialogue with Russia amid reports of a visit to Moscow by Emmanuel Bonn, adviser to French President Emmanuel Macron. This was reported by the Politico newspaper on February 6.

"A European diplomat involved in the reports said that there is agreement in Brussels that [now] the context is 'different than in 2022' and that other capitals are 'quite in solidarity' with attempts to resume dialogue." — the publication says.
