The PCT announced the imminent return of Russians from Cuba
The Russians who are stuck in Cuba will be brought back to their homeland in the near future. This was announced on February 6 by the Russian Union of Travel Industry.
The organization noted that the situation is under the control of tour operators.
"According to information from tour operators that are part of the Russian Union of Travel Industry, the situation is under control at the moment. Planes are being refueled right now. There is enough fuel. In the very near future, tourists will be delivered to Russia," RIA Novosti reports.
They stressed that cooperation with the airlines and the host country continues, and the delay in departure is of a technical nature.
A representative of the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement Service said on February 5 that two Russian women detained on suspicion of illegally entering the Camp Pendleton military base in California would remain in custody until the end of the proceedings. The women entered the United States illegally, and one of them had previously been detained by American law enforcement officers. Currently, one of the Russians is facing deportation.
