Some districts of the Zaporizhia region were temporarily de-energized. This was announced on February 6 by the governor of the region Evgeny Balitsky.

"Temporary power outage in the municipalities of the Zaporizhia region: Akimovsky, Kuibyshev, Tokmak, Vasilyevsky, Primorsky, Priazovsky municipal districts, parts of the districts of the urban districts of Melitopol and Berdyansk," the governor wrote on the Telegram channel.

He stressed that experts are already working to clarify the causes of the incident, as well as working to eliminate the causes of the power outage. In addition, socially significant facilities were connected to backup power sources.

"Currently, all services are on high alert due to temporary power outages. Operational and repair teams are working on site. They have already started working with the equipment and are conducting a systematic check of all systems to identify and eliminate the cause of the accident," the report says.

On the same day, Balitsky wrote that the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) were shelling the satellite city of the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant Energodara. He noted that there is currently no information about the victims of the attack. In addition, there is a possibility of repeated attacks by the Ukrainian army.
