Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Isolda Lidarskaya died at the age of 93.

Isolda Lidarskaya, Honored Artist of Russia and actress of the Orenburg State Regional Drama Theater named after M. Gorky, has died. This was announced on February 6 on the theater's website.

"The Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Isolda Lidarskaya has passed away. On May 1, 2026, she would have turned 93 years old. <...> Bright memory of Isolda Alexandrovna Lidarskaya! We express our condolences to the actress' family and friends," the publication says.

The theater reported that the actress had participated in productions for more than 50 years, starting in 1958.

Lidarskaya was born on May 1, 1933 in Stalingrad in the family of a musical comedy actress and a conductor. She graduated from the Moscow Art Theater Studio School in Orenburg and served for more than 50 years in the troupe of the regional drama theater, where she created dozens of vivid comedic and dramatic images, playing in the plays "The King's Grandson", "The Storm", "Othello", "Richard III", "Three Sisters", "A Very Simple Story" and many others. In 1993, she was awarded the title of Honored Artist of the Russian Federation.
