The Russian U-17 youth football team will play in the Development Cup with the national teams of the CIS countries. This was announced on February 6 by the press service of the Russian Football Union (RFU).

"From February 19 to 23, the Russian youth national team (players born in 2009) will participate in the International Development Cup. The tournament will be held at the arena of the Belarusian Football Federation in Minsk with the participation of teams from Russia, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan," the publication on the RFU website says.

It is noted that the competition will consist of two stages: a group stage and a final. In the first stage, each team will play three matches within its group, after which the final stage will take place, during which the winners of each group will play a match.

Last year, on September 16, the inclusive unified mini-football Spartakiad started in Dagestan. The Match of Kindness brought together more than 400 athletes, 300 of them with intellectual disabilities, but all played on the same team. The age of the participants is from nine to 55 years old.
