In the Khabarovsk Territory, law enforcement agencies detained six people suspected of embezzling over 2.4 million rubles from participants in a special military operation. The video of the detention was published by the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Irina Volk in her channel in the messenger MAX.

During the searches, mobile phones, marriage certificates with military personnel, passports, cash, bank cards, flash drives, as well as documents and powers of attorney were seized from the defendants.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the attackers arranged fictitious marriages and received notarized powers of attorney to dispose of the bank accounts of the participants of their joint venture, after which they appropriated their cash payments. As a result of the criminal actions, six people were injured, each of whom lost about 400 thousand rubles.
