The Moscow Stories campaign will be held in Moscow from February 20 to 22 for the World Guide's Day. The participants of the excursions will be able to learn about the restoration of historical buildings, new attractions, the library railway, the work of film makers and much more, said Deputy Mayor Natalia Sergunina.

"More than 340 excursions of various formats have been prepared for the participants of the action. For example, you can choose a walking or bus trip, complete a quest, visit the ecocenter and the zoo, the film studio and the Ostankino TV Tower," said Sergunina.

This year, over 120 venues have joined Moscow Stories. Among them are the Helikon Opera Theater, the Donskoy Monastery, the Gaidar Palace of Creativity for Children and Youth, the Hermitage Garden, and the Aquatoria ZIL sports complex. Gorky's Film Studio and the Moskino film Fund will tell you how films are stored, what film makers do, and how rare footage is restored. At the Path to Victory exhibition at the Victory Museum, Muscovites and tourists will learn about the key events of 1941-1945 thanks to multimedia technologies and impressive dioramas. At the Lenin State Library, visitors will be guided through the reading rooms and the book distribution department, where copies arrive from the book depository via a special railway. The Cosmonautics and Aviation Center at VDNH will offer a virtual balloon trip.

The Hunters in Flippers route has been prepared for the guests of the Moscow Zoo. During the walk, visitors will learn interesting facts about walruses and seals. And at the Tsarskaya Apiary ecocenter, guests will be introduced to the life of bees and owls.

Children will be able to take part in the quest "Looking for silence on Tverskaya". They will decipher the tales of Korney Chukovsky using Morse code and solve the mysteries of the movement of high-rise buildings.

You can sign up for free excursions until February 11 at the Russpass travel service.

Last year, over 9,5 thousand people joined the campaign.
