A sewer collector has been overhauled in Mozhaisk.
Major repairs of the sewer were carried out in Mozhaisk. This was announced on Friday, February 6, according to the press service of the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services of the Moscow region.
The main works took place near the village of Kozhukhovo. Specialists have replaced a section of the central network with a diameter of up to 1,000 mm, through which wastewater flows to the main sewage treatment plants of the district.
Also, as part of the renovation, more than 2 km of new networks were laid and 15 new sewage wells were equipped. Part of the networks under Mozhaiskoe highway was carried out by horizontal directional drilling without opening the asphalt and blocking traffic.
The project was implemented within the framework of the program "Development of engineering infrastructure and waste management industry". This has made it possible to increase the reliability of the wastewater disposal system and improve the quality of life for more than 24,000 residents, writes the online publication Podmoskovye Segodnya.
Earlier it was reported that more than 200 km of pavement on federal highways were repaired in the Moscow Region in 2025. In particular, the work took place on the M-2 "Crimea", M-5 "Ural" and M-8 "Kholmogory" highways.
