On Saturday, February 7, skier Daria Nepryaeva will perform at the Olympic Games in Milan. The athlete will go to the start of the skiathlon competition — 10 km classic style and 10 km free. The start of the race is scheduled for 15:00 Moscow time. The athlete will represent Russia in a neutral status without national symbols.

As part of the Olympiad, Daria Nepryaeva is also enrolled in a number of other disciplines. On February 10, at 11:15 Moscow time, she will compete in the classic style sprint (qualification), on February 12 at 15:00 Moscow time she will participate in the 10 km freestyle race, and on February 22 at 12:00 Moscow time she will participate in the 50 km freestyle mass start.

Daria Nepryaeva was born on May 18, 2002 in Tver. She grew up in a family of athletes: her older sister Natalia Nepryaeva (Terentyeva) is the 2022 Olympic champion in the relay, and her father Mikhail Nepryaev is a ski racing coach. At the age of 23, the athlete is a two—time champion of Russia, the world junior champion in the 5 km classic race (2022), the winner of the stages of the Cup of Russia.

In the 2025/2026 season, she has shown stable results in the international arena. At the end of December 2025, Nepryaeva took part in the multi-day Tour de Ski race in Toblach, Italy: she finished 27th in the 10 km classic style with a separate start, took eighth place in the 5 km freestyle mass start, and placed tenth in the overall Tour de Ski standings. the place.

At the World Cup in Oberhof, Germany, on January 18, 2026, in the 10 km classic style race with a split start, she showed a time of 25 minutes 33.3 seconds and took 16th place. On January 24, at the World Cup in Goms, Switzerland, Nepryaeva was eliminated in the 1/4 finals of the sprint, finishing fifth in the quarterfinals, and the next day she finished eighth in the classic 20 km mass start.

This is Nepryaeva's first appearance at the 2026 Olympics. The coaches note her stability in the classic style and her readiness for mixed races.
