- The funeral of ex-Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy Kuroedov will be held in Moscow on February 10.
The farewell ceremony with the former commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy, Admiral of the Fleet Vladimir Kuroedov, will take place on February 10 in Moscow. This was reported to RIA Novosti on February 6 by the press service of the Admirals Club.
It is noted that Kuroedov will be buried at the Troekurovsky cemetery. The funeral service will begin at 13:30.
Kuroyedov headed the Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy from 1997 to 2005.
Kuroedov's death at the age of 82 became known the day before. The cause of death was a serious long-term illness. Kuroedov was a corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Rocket and Artillery Sciences, and is also the author of a large number of publications on military-scientific and military-political subjects.
