Russia will supply Su-57 fighter jets to its partners in the coming year, and also expects new contracts for these aircraft. This was announced on February 6 by Alexander Mikheev, head of the state-owned Rosoboronexport company.

"In 2026, Rosoboronexport plans to supply fifth-generation Su-57E fighters (the Su—57E model is an export version of the Su-57. — Ed.) to partners. In addition, we expect to conclude new contracts for this aircraft," he said in an interview with Interfax.

The corresponding statement was made by the agency's interlocutor on the eve of the 3rd World International Exhibition World Defense Show 2026, which will be held from February 8 to 12 in Riyadh.

Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on January 30 that Russian-made military equipment for export had been tested in combat. He said that last year the country received a "solid portfolio of new export orders" and supplied weapons to more than 30 armies around the world.

On January 12, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov pointed to an increase in requests for the export of military equipment from the Russian Federation. According to him, air defense systems, aviation equipment and multiple launch rocket systems are in particular demand. He specified that starting from 2022, the portfolio of signed export contracts of the Russian Federation for military equipment has grown from $55 billion to $70 billion.
