A clinical psychologist spoke about the problems in the families of bloggers
Clinical psychologist Daria Serebryakova told Izvestia on February 7 that the greatest danger to the psyche of children whose parents earn money by blogging is the lack of a clear boundary between the activities of moms and dads and their normal lives.
"A child sees the difference between reality and the image in a blog, and may also encounter the fact that a natural appearance — without filters and makeup — can cause a negative reaction from the audience," Serebryakova commented.
According to the clinical psychologist, children do not always understand that the increased demands on appearance are related to the specifics of the profession, advertising, and sales. There is an imaginary feeling that in everyday life it is also necessary to be absolutely perfect — to constantly monitor appearance, clothes, poses.
"Against the background of the constant need to create the perfect picture, a person finds himself in a state of chronic anxiety, it is difficult for him to relax. This applies not only to appearance, but also to the whole organization of life. Even rest ceases to be rest and turns into hard work," Serebryakova continued.
