He also said that after the incident, the employer refused to pay the worker for an industrial injury.

However, the court of first instance sided with the employee and fully satisfied the claims. At the same time, the employer was accused of violating safety requirements and ordered to compensate for health damage by paying a total of 1.5 million rubles. The defendant stated that he would appeal the court's decision.

Doctors diagnosed, among other things, a fractured skull, tooth loss and a fractured spine. The victim lost his ability to work and had to register a disability.

A criminal case was opened into the incident for violation of labor protection requirements. According to the victim, his employer convinced him not to insist on an investigation, promising to pay for treatment and recovery. The criminal prosecution was stopped, but the man did not receive the promised help, the deputy said.

Earlier it was reported that a worker died in Tyumen as a result of a fall from a height at a construction site. It was also reported that in Khimki, near Moscow, two workers fell from the roof of an apartment building while installing snow holders.
