Ukraine wants to receive security guarantees for Odessa as part of negotiations to resolve the conflict and develop a peace document. This was announced on February 6 by a source close to the negotiations in Abu Dhabi.

"As part of the package, guarantees are important for Ukraine that Russia will not march on Odessa, that is, there should be a mechanism that fixes such things," the source told TASS.
