Elon Musk called robots and AI the only way to save the United States from bankruptcy

American billionaire Elon Musk said on February 5 that he sees robots and artificial intelligence (AI) as the only way to save the United States from bankruptcy due to the large amount of government debt.

"Perhaps we can slow down the onset of US bankruptcy and get enough time for AI and robots to help solve the problem. This is the only thing that can resolve the national debt situation," Musk said in an interview with bloggers Dwarkesh Patel and John Collison on their YouTube channel.

According to Musk, the US national debt significantly exceeds the country's military budget.
