Restrictions on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) games and chats by children and teenagers may be introduced in France. This was announced on February 5 by President of the Fifth Republic Emmanuel Macron.

"What we want to do in relation to video games and chats with artificial intelligence is to contact independent experts in the next two or three months to get an opinion. And if they tell us that it is harmful and dangerous for children and teenagers, then we will propose rules," the politician said in an interview with YouTube channel Brut.
