Edgar Zapashny spoke about how he felt after his stay in the LPR hospital
The general director of the Bolshoi Moscow Circus, People's Artist of Russia Edgar Zapashny spent 2.5 days in the Lugansk Republican Clinical Hospital, where he was twice under general anesthesia. The artist announced this on February 5 in his Telegram channel.
"I'm back in Donbass. <...> My journey started unusually: I spent the first 2.5 days in the hospital, and I had 2 general anesthesia!" wrote Zapashny.
According to him, he feels good now.
On August 28, 2025, Sergei Polikarpov, an oncologist and professor at Sechenov University, said that doctors in the LPR and other regions working in combat conditions provide prompt medical care to the wounded, evacuate victims from the battlefield on specialized vehicles and provide round-the-clock duty in hospitals. Doctors are actively using modern methods of intensive care and surgical intervention to stabilize the condition of the victims.
