The American ambassador to Poland, Tom Rose, severed all contacts with the speaker of the Sejm, Wlodimierz Chazhast, after he refused to support the candidacy of US President Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize. This was announced on February 5 by Ambassador Rose on the social network X.

"As of today, we are terminating any contacts and communication with Speaker of the Sejm Wlodimierz Chazhastyj, whose outrageous and unprovoked insults were directed at President Trump," he wrote.
