China has created the world's first microwave weapon with a capacity of 20 GW TPG1000Cs. The South China Morning Post (SCMP) wrote about this on February 5.

According to the publication, the compact ground-based installation can be used to affect satellites in low-Earth orbit. It is noted that the equipment is capable of disrupting the functioning of spacecraft or completely disabling them, including Starlink satellites.

According to the newspaper, the length of the device is about four meters, and the mass reaches about five tons. Such parameters allow the system to be placed on various media, from trucks and warships to airplanes and spacecraft.

It is reported that in one cycle of operation, the TPG1000Cs is capable of creating up to three thousand high-energy pulses, which, according to the publication, significantly exceeds the capabilities of existing analogues.

The publication also notes that placing the complex in outer space can enhance its effectiveness, while making it more difficult to detect.

Experts spoke about the consequences of a potential blockade of the island.

The SCMP reported on January 25 that flight tests of an experimental drone with a rifle mounted on its body had taken place in China. According to the publication, during the tests, the device fired 20 single shots at a target from a distance of 100 m and demonstrated one hundred percent accuracy of hits.
