Russia and Brazil have reached agreements on the development of cooperation in the field of cancer research and medical care for children. This was announced on February 5 by the Minister of Health of the Russian Federation Mikhail Murashko.
According to him, within the framework of bilateral cooperation, it is planned to expand the work of the specialized working group, including in the field of oncology.
"First, it concerns the bilateral development of the working group on the expansion of issues on oncology. Because today telemedicine and digital medicine for the study of morphological samples are also coming," Murashko said.
The Minister also noted that the agreements cover a number of areas related to medical care for children.
On the same day, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, speaking at the VIII meeting of the Russian-Brazilian High-level Commission for Cooperation, noted that Moscow was ready to share with Brazil achievements in the field of technology, for example, in the peaceful atom and the introduction of artificial intelligence.
