Dmitry Leontiev, a defendant in the fraud case against the People's Artist of the Russian Federation, singer Larisa Dolina, joined the scam after his release from prison. This was announced on February 5 by the press bureau of the Federal Penitentiary Service (FSIN) of Russia.

"At the time of the commission of the crime he was charged with, he was not in prison," TASS reports.

According to the FSIN, Leontiev joined the fraud organization immediately after leaving the colony in Mari El, where he was serving a sentence under a previous sentence.

On November 28 last year, the court sentenced the defendants in the Dolina apartment sale case to up to seven years in a penal colony. Angela Tsyrulnikova received seven years in prison with a fine of 1 million rubles. Other defendants in the case — Andrey Osnovy, Artur Kamenetsky and Dmitry Leontiev — were sentenced to four and seven years in a penal colony with a fine of 900 thousand rubles.
