A woman died in a car collision in the Pskov region.

A woman was killed in a head-on collision of passenger cars in the Pustoshkinsky district of the Pskov region. This was reported to the Pskov news feed by the press service of the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.

The accident occurred on Thursday afternoon, February 5, on the 446th km of the St. Petersburg-Nevel federal highway. It was previously established that the 36-year-old driver of a Nissan Almera drove into oncoming traffic and crashed into a ZAZ Tavria.

As a result of the collision, the driver of the ZAZ received various injuries, from which she died on the spot. The circumstances of the head-on accident are being established.

On January 18, it was reported that four people were killed in a collision between a passenger car and a freight train at a railway crossing in the Pskov region. Renault Logan was driving through the crossing when it collided with a freight train from Pskov to Velikiye Luki.
