The Grand Tour will return to screens in 2026 without Clarkson and Hammond.
The Grand Tour car show will return to screens in 2026 after a two-year hiatus, and the cast of presenters will completely change. This was reported by Variety on February 5, citing a statement from the Prime Video streaming service.
The first season after the relaunch of The Grand Tour will be hosted by bloggers Thomas Holland and James Engelsman from the popular automotive YouTube channel Throttle House, as well as Francis Bourgeois, who produces content mainly about trains.
Six episodes of the show are planned to be released this year. In them, the presenters will travel through the Angolan desert on tracked vehicles, test cars in Malaysia and the American state of California.
Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May, who worked on The Top Gear show for almost 20 years and hosted The Grand Tour from 2016 to 2024, have completed their participation in the project. The authors of the relaunch of the show said that the new trio would not be a "cardboard copy" of the old stars. It has been announced that Andy Wilman, who previously worked on Top Gear and The Grand Tour, will return to producing.
In December last year, it was reported that Jeremy Clarkson banned all MPs from the ruling Labour Party from visiting his pub due to dissatisfaction with tax increases. He made an exception only for MP Marcus Campbell Savors.
