Large-scale construction of the second bypass road will start in Tyumen in the summer of 2026. For the sake of the project, it is planned to seize dozens of lands from the townspeople.

As specified in the main directorate of regional construction, about 80 sites fall under the seizure.

According to the <url> news agency, the length of the new road will be 20 km, and it will include two interchanges. It will connect three federal highways and redirect most of the transit traffic bypassing the city.

Earlier it was reported that in Tyumen, the city embankment and the River Port were connected by a pedestrian path. The passage is already open to the townspeople.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
