Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Alexander Gutsan in Yessentuki introduced his deputy Sergey Bazhutov to the staff of the Main Directorate of the Prosecutor General's Office for the North Caucasus and Southern Federal Districts. The Prosecutor General announced the decree of the President of the Russian Federation, which appointed Sergey Bazhutov to the post, and outlined important issues to be worked on.

"In accordance with the distribution of duties, I have assigned him the responsibility for the activities of the Main Directorate for the North Caucasus and the Southern Federal District," Gutan is quoted as saying on the Prosecutor General's Office's Facebook channel.

The head of the supervisory authority stressed that Bazhutov had been serving in the prosecutor's office for more than 30 years.

On the eve of the official Internet portal of legal information, a decree was published appointing Sergei Bazhutov and Sergei Tabelsky as Deputy Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation.
