The Moscow regional commuted the sentence of rapper Obe1Kanobe (real name Nikita Vartikov) in the case of attempted drug trafficking and reduced the sentence by six months. This was reported on February 5 by a correspondent of Izvestia from the courtroom.

The musician himself asked for a commutation of punishment, or for the case to be referred for a new hearing.

"I'm not a drug dealer and I've never been one," he said in his final statement.
