The Foton Toano van has entered the Russian market in a new modification
Sales of an upgraded version of the Foton Toano van with a gross weight of 3.5 tons have started in Russia. In the Pro version, the model costs about 3.35 million rubles, the van features a new diesel engine and a redesigned exterior. This is stated in the message of the MB Rus distributor company, which was received by Izvestia on February 5. On the basis of the model, various versions are possible, for example, a minibus with 15 passenger seats.
The Foton Toano Pro can be recognized by the updated radiator grille, a different bumper and the presence of LED optics. The van's dimensions are 5,990×2,090×2,700 mm. Cargo compartment size: 3580×1775×1950 mm. The ground clearance for the single—pitched version is 180 mm, for the gable version - 165 mm.
The van is equipped with a new 2.5-liter diesel engine (Euro-5) with a capacity of 154 hp (415 Nm) and a 6-speed manual transmission. A regular Toano (its price starts from 2.59 million rubles) has a 2.8-liter 150-horsepower diesel engine. The Pro model is equipped with a heated fuel system, the fuel tank capacity is 80 liters.
The Toano Pro has increased the range of adjustment of the driver's seat, optionally it is possible to install a propped-up driver's seat with heating and ventilation with stiffness adjustment for the weight of the driver. There is a multifunctional steering wheel with height and reach adjustment, a Bluetooth and Carbonit-enabled media system, a rear-view camera and an air conditioner. Cruise control, power windows, electric adjustment and heating of rear-view mirrors with turn signal, rear parking sensors and other options are provided.
Earlier, on February 3, it was reported that the Bryansk company GKMP presented the first Russian road milling cutter. Such special equipment is designed to remove old asphalt and prepare the surface for a new road. The road milling cutter was named "Desna F". This summer, the car will be sent for trial operation on the Moscow – Bobruisk highway.
