On February 5, operators of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the 123rd Separate Guards Motorized Rifle Brigade of the Southern Group of Forces spoke about their work on targets of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Kramatorsk area in the special military operation zone.

Most often, the brigade has to work on the manpower of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and their shelters, Ukrainian "maviks", as well as on their vehicles, thereby disrupting the logistics of the Ukrainian militants.

"These can be both armored combat vehicles and cars. They also use ATVs, NRTKS [ground—based robotic systems]," the commander of the brigade's UAV company with the call sign Legion told Izvestia correspondent Egor Kildibekov.

According to the commander, special braids are often used to advance the unit, thanks to which more than 50 "maviks" of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed.

However, in order to successfully complete combat missions, UAV operators have to carefully choose a shelter where they cannot be found by Ukrainian "birds".

On February 4, the Rubicon center drone crew destroyed an APU warehouse in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Russian intelligence has discovered an ammunition depot in an abandoned building near the village of Orly. By the decision of the command, the task of destroying the target was assigned to the operator of the Lightning strike drone. As a result of an accurate hit, the warehouse was completely destroyed.
