In the Trans–Baikal Territory, 11 wagons of a coal freight train derailed on the Khilok-Gyrshelun stage. This was announced on February 5 on the official Telegram channel of the Trans-Baikal Railway.

"According to preliminary information, 11 wagons of a coal freight train derailed on the Khilok–Gyrshelun section of the Trans—Baikal Railway," the report said.

It is noted that there were no casualties, the neighboring tracks were not involved during the descent.
