US President Donald Trump hopes that he can extend his program to tighten control over illegal migration to five more American cities. On February 4, the politician said this in an interview with Tom Llamas, the host of the NBC Nightly News program on NBC News.

"We are seriously considering five cities, but we want to receive an invitation," Trump said.

It is reported that by his response, the American leader made it clear that he did not want to extend the program to places where migration agents would encounter resistance from local activists, as was the case in Minneapolis. In addition, the politician did not specify the names of the cities in which he is considering tightening migration policy.

CNN reported on January 31 that protests by U.S. residents against the activities of ICE have spread to all corners of the country. It was noted that protests in Minnesota have been going on for the second week due to the murders of two residents by federal agents.

A day earlier, an ICE Out protest was held in Los Angeles, which means "The US Immigration and Customs Enforcement is out," during which activists clashed with police.
