The number of Russian regions with an average salary of more than 150 thousand rubles has grown to five. This was reported on February 5 in the Unified Interdepartmental Information and Statistical System (EMISS).

"The average monthly nominal accrued salary of full—time employees is 209,356 rubles in the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug, 179,674 in the Magadan Region, 173,748 in Moscow, 168,195 in the Yamalo—Nenets Autonomous Okrug, and 164,954 in the Kamchatka Territory," according to EMISS data reviewed by TASS.

The list of regions with an average salary above 100,000 rubles is noticeably longer — it includes the Trans-Baikal Territory, St. Petersburg, the Nenets and Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrugs, the Republic of Yakutia, as well as the Sakhalin, Murmansk and Tyumen regions.

The lowest average salary is observed in Dagestan, Ingushetia and Chechnya — it rarely exceeds 50 thousand rubles.
