More than 4.9 thousand residents of the Murmansk region fell ill with acute respiratory viral infections in a week

Over the past week, more than 4.9 thousand cases of acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI) were registered in the Murmansk region. Almost half of the cases are among children.

According to the Bi-port news agency, 71 cases of coronavirus infection have been registered. The incidence rate was 10.8 per 100,000 population.

Children account for 48.1% of the incidence. Mostly schoolchildren get sick.

In the Irkutsk region, almost 11 thousand cases of acute respiratory viral infections have been registered over the past week. The incidence rate has increased in all age groups.
