Sergei Ivanov himself wanted to leave the post of special representative of the President of the Russian Federation on environmental protection, ecology and transport, so Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree dismissing him from office. This was announced on February 4 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
"Sergei Borisovich expressed such a desire himself, and therefore a decree was signed," Peskov explained.
