The first lighting line on the road was launched in 2026 in Transbaikalia
In 2026, the first electric lighting line on the Chita—Ingoda regional road was launched in Transbaikalia. Lanterns appeared from the 30th to the 35th km in the village of Domna, the press service of Zabavtodor reports.
157 LED poles with the same number of Russian-made lamps were installed along the road. 4,912 meters of SIP cable have been laid. The facility was commissioned ahead of schedule and has already been put into operation.
According to ChitaMedia news agency, lighting was carried out in eight villages of the region in 2025, and in the current 2026 it will be installed in 15 more settlements.
It is expected that by 2030, lighting with a total length of more than 339 km will appear in 168 settlements in 25 municipalities of Transbaikalia.
Earlier it was reported that multifunctional road service points will appear along the roads in Transbaikalia. The issue of their creation has already been discussed at a meeting in the regional Ministry of Economic Development.
