The United Arab Emirates (UAE) hopes that Russia, Ukraine and the United States will be able to move forward at the trilateral talks in Abu Dhabi. This was announced on February 4 by the Foreign Ministry of the Emirates.

"The Ministry noted that the beginning of the second round reflects the interest of the parties in the diplomatic process, and expressed the hope that this round will contribute to the development of what was achieved during the first round," the ministry said in a statement on its website.
