A special military operation to protect the civilian population of Donbass has been conducted by Russia since February 24, 2022. Three ammunition depots and four material depots were destroyed.
Military personnel of the Zapad group of forces defeated the manpower and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the districts of the Kharkiv region. The losses of the Ukrainian formations amounted to 190 soldiers, a tank, two armored combat vehicles, 12 vehicles, five field artillery guns, including one of Western manufacture, a counter-battery radar station and an electronic warfare station. Three ammunition depots were destroyed.
As a result of active actions, the southern group of troops liberated the Stepanovka settlement of the DPR. The enemy was defeated in the settlements of the DPR. The Ukrainian Armed Forces lost up to 165 militants, two armored combat vehicles, 14 vehicles, two field artillery guns, a counter-battery radar station and an electronic warfare station. Seven warehouses of materiel and fuel were destroyed.
The Center group of troops occupied more advantageous positions and frontiers, and also defeated units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of the Dnipropetrovsk region and the DPR. The enemy's losses amounted to over 350 people, five armored combat vehicles, 11 vehicles and two artillery pieces.
The military personnel of the Vostok group of forces continued to advance into the depth of the enemy's defenses and, as a result of decisive actions, liberated the village of Staroukrainka in the Zaporizhia region. The Ukrainian Armed Forces' manpower and equipment were defeated in the Zaporizhia and Dnipropetrovsk regions. The enemy lost more than 340 soldiers, a tank, 13 armored combat vehicles, 12 vehicles and an electronic warfare station. The warehouse of material assets was destroyed.
Units of the Dnepr group of forces defeated the manpower and equipment of the mechanized, mountain assault and coastal defense brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of settlements of the Zaporizhia and Kherson regions. The enemy's losses amounted to 65 militants, eight vehicles, and a Western-made field artillery piece. The warehouse of material assets was destroyed.
Operational-tactical aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles, missile forces and artillery of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation defeated fuel and energy infrastructure facilities used in the interests of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine and the Armed Forces of Ukraine, storage and launch sites for long-range unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as temporary locations of Ukrainian armed forces and foreign mercenaries in 153 districts.
Air defense systems shot down eight guided aerial bombs, 22 US-made HIMARS multiple launch rocket launchers, two Neptune long-range guided missiles and 139 aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles.
According to the Ministry of Defense, since the beginning of the special military operation, 670 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 112215 unmanned aerial vehicles, 649 anti-aircraft missile systems, 27484 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1658 multiple rocket launchers, 33050 field artillery guns and mortars, 53641 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed.
