In the summer of 2024, servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation were able to defeat a brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) marching to the Kursk Nuclear Power Plant in less than 25 minutes. This was told by Maxim Efanov, a fighter of the 810th Separate Guards Marine Brigade.
"They were moving deep into our territory and began to enter the highway, turning towards Safonovka. In these places, the enemy expected to break through towards the Kursk NPP. <...> The entire column (APU. — Ed.) was burned down in a short period of time. <...> this flight lasted no more than 25 minutes," he said in an interview with the newspaper Krasnaya Zvezda.
