Epstein speculated about Macron's possible enjoyment of getting slapped

Jeffrey Epstein, a financier accused of violence and human trafficking, believed that French President Emmanuel Macron might have enjoyed getting slapped in the face. This became known on February 4 from documents released by the US Department of Justice.

"I was told that the nationalists would have more space, but not much more influence? My Germans said it was a slap in the face for Macron, but knowing him, he probably even liked it," the financier said.

Epstein sent such a text, divided into two messages, on May 26, 2019, to an unknown addressee.
