The State Duma intends to introduce a bill on adaptive sick leave, which will allow an employee to work during sick leave. This was announced on February 4 by Yaroslav Nilov, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans' Affairs.

"There are several proposals, including about adaptive sick leave. The initiative is planned to be submitted to the State Duma in the near future," Nilov said in an interview with TASS.

He added that this method will be allowed if the disease is not dangerous and does not interfere with work.

It is planned to introduce a new article into the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, which will allow the introduction of this type of sick leave.
