Private Pyankov destroyed a camouflaged AFU firing point with grenades

During a reconnaissance operation, Private Vladislav Pyankov discovered a camouflaged firing point of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), which he then destroyed. The press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported on the exploits of servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the area of a special military operation on Wednesday, February 4.

It is noted that after discovering the camouflaged positions, the soldier approached the firing point and decided to personally engage in battle. He threw several hand grenades at the militants and, after detonating them, engaged in battle with the remaining personnel. The Defense Ministry stressed that the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who did not expect the strike, were "discouraged" by what was happening.

As a result of the ensuing battle, the enemy lost up to the separation of manpower. As a result of the detection and destruction of the specified firing point, Russian troops were able to establish a safe route for the assault group, which then captured important tactical lines.

The Defense Ministry also said that Junior Sergeant Roman Chamaev, hiding in the forest from a Ukrainian drone, discovered an enemy sabotage and reconnaissance group there. The Russian fighter decided to engage in battle with an enemy detachment, as a result of which most of the saboteurs were destroyed.

After the battle, Chamaev, along with his group, continued to move and delivered an important cargo containing provisions and ammunition to the positions of the Russian Army. As a result, the troops received the necessary funds for further advancement.

As a result, the task was successfully completed, and communication with the department was restored.
