The suspects in the abduction opened fire on law enforcement officers on Rublyovskoye highway

In Moscow, suspects in the kidnapping and murder of a hostage opened fire on law enforcement officials on Rublyovskoye highway. This was announced on February 3 by the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Irina Volk in the Telegram channel.

"During the arrest, the attackers offered armed resistance, and in connection with this, the police used their service weapons in accordance with the Federal Law on Police," she said.

It is noted that as a result, one suspect was killed. The second one has been detained and is currently being taken to the investigative authorities.
